Our philosophy
MYTHINK was born from a play on words, but also from a deeper idea: the meeting point between personal perspective, myth, and contemporary creation.
Its name carries a double linguistic reading. It can be read as My Think, but also as Myth Ink, standing at the threshold between personal thought and mythical imprint. On the one hand, it expresses one’s own way of thinking - the personal perspective through which each person perceives, chooses, and ultimately makes an object their own. On the other, Myth Ink, the “mythical ink”, functions symbolically as a visual and conceptual code that bridges Greek mythology with the contemporary Greek art object.
MYTHINK does not seek to define its identity in a single, fixed way. On the contrary, it remains deliberately open, suggestive, multi-layered, and playful. At times it acts as a reference to myth; at others, as a statement of personal aesthetics; and at others still, as the starting point for an object that goes beyond mere functionality.
Its point of departure is Greek mythology and the broader idea of Greekness - not as a static representation of the past, but as a living field of symbols, forms, and meanings that are constantly reinterpreted through a contemporary aesthetic. At the heart of the brand lies the belief that every object can become something more than what it appears to be. Each creation becomes a dialogue between the mythical and the everyday, the ancient and the modern, the collective narrative and personal experience.
The Greek identity of MYTHINK is not limited to inspiration alone; it is also reflected in the creative process itself. All objects are designed and produced in Greece, through collaborations with Greek creators and local partners, keeping alive the relationship between the idea, the place, and its material expression.
The result is a brand that proposes objects with identity - beyond their decorative function. Objects that invite the person who chooses them to make them their own, give them meaning, and incorporate them into their personal story.
